As a Data Management Analyst 4 - Contingent, you will serve as a senior-level data specialist responsible for overseeing complex data management activities across the organization. You will work in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is accurate, secure, well-governed, and effectively leveraged to support business decisions and regulatory requirements. This role involves advanced analysis, data quality oversight, and the implementation of best practices in data governance and data lifecycle management.Responsibilities:Lead complex data management initiatives, including data profiling, data quality assessments, and remediation efforts.Develop, document, and maintain data standards, data dictionaries, and metadata to support enterprise data governance.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data models.Support the design and implementation of data controls to ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and timeliness.Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.Partner with technology teams to implement data integration, transformation, and validation processes across multiple systems.Monitor and report on data quality metrics, providing recommendations and action plans to address issues.Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to data privacy, security, and retention.Provide subject matter expertise on data management best practices, tools, and methodologies to junior analysts and project teams.Participate in and sometimes lead data-related projects, including planning, requirements gathering, testing, and implementation support.Qualifications:Extensive experience in data management, data governance, data quality, or related analytics roles.Strong understanding of data management principles, including data lifecycle, metadata management, and master data concepts.Proficiency with data analysis and querying tools (such as SQL or similar) and experience working with large, complex data sets.Demonstrated ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.Experience working in a hybrid environment, effectively managing time and communication across onsite and remote settings.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to data privacy and security is preferred.Bachelor’s degree in information systems, data management, computer science, business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.About PTR Global: PTR Global is a leading provider of information technology and workforce solutions.
