Changing Lives.What You'll DO:Deliver The Edge Experience to our members in each classAbility to communicate with people of all age groupsDemonstrate proper techniques and form that aligns with class descriptions while modifying intensity for members when necessaryEnsure class begins and ends on timeTeach respective classes on a regular basis and keep subbing to a minimumCommunicate with the Group Fitness Manager on member feedback, equipment and operational status, scheduling, and subbingMaintain a professional attitude toward responsibilities, fellow instructors, club staff and membersBe punctual and exhibit a positive attitudeProject a professional image through dress, behavior and attitudeMust be outgoing, energetic and able to perform in front of an audienceAdhere to Group Exercise policies and proceduresDemonstrate positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers.Support and articulate the Edge Fitness mission statementMaintain a healthy way of lifeAdhere to Group Exercise policies and proceduresWhat You'll Need:Have 6 months experience teaching Group Fitness classes in a related disciplineMust possess and maintain current CPR/AED certificationMust have access to regular email and phone communicationAbility to build professional relationship with membersExcellent customer service and promotional skills; energetic, enthusiastic, and motivationalExcellent interpersonal skillsExtensive knowledge of fitness, and program designKnowledge of safe exercise techniques and ability to demonstrateAbility to demonstrate safe exercise techniquesProgram design experience preferredValid Group Exercise Certification RequiredSpecialty Certifications (Les Mills, Barre, Spin, Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, Kickboxing, MOSSA Power, ETC)Extensive knowledge of fitness, and program designKnowledge of safe exercise techniquesAbility to multi-task and learn quicklyExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to demonstrate safe exercise techniqueWhat We Offer YOU:We will give you a FREE Gym membership!
